CANNABIS AND SEX
TO SMOKE OR NOT TO SMOKE….. WHEN IT COMES TO PLEASURE, THAT IS THE QUESTION.
This simple question has perplexed cannabis (and sex) enthusiasts since the age of Woodstock and free loving. Does imbibing in weed before sexy time make anything or possibly everything better? Is there some magical physiological response chemically altering our bodies to allow more or even extended pleasure and orgasm? Or is it the simple mind altering of lowered inhibitions and a state of relaxation that cause all the stir and media buzz? Let's explore how we can all have better sex with weed. While the science remains somewhat vague and open for interpretation; I examined the popular methods of delivery and here is what I found.

Ingestion:
Edibles are fantastic. For example take our CBD/THC 1:1s, which I have personally been enjoying in and out of the bedroom for years. Eating cannabis tends to create a more full-body high, somewhere between I feel good and OMG is that what my voice sounds like out loud? As a result, this can be a great option if you’re planning a sex marathon in a secluded cabin fully stocked with food and water. However; you may wish to avoid ingesting for the Netflix and “chill” evening delight. This high creeps up slowly; so start out with a lower dose like 5mg to see how you tolerate it. This will avoid going from “I don’t feel anything” to “is my soul leaving my body”; which of course is inherently unsexy.
Topical:
Lube. There, I said it. Most of us use and enjoy it already but weed lube? Does it work? Is it worth the investment? Because this form of cannabis use never actually enters the bloodstream or reaches the brain, it reacts very differently with our pleasure bits. The main benefits being: decreased muscle tension and nerve pain which creates more sensitivity and stronger orgasms. Imagine pleasure being able to build longer and more efficiently with less pain from “friction”….OMG. User be wary though; you may feel the results of your escapades tomorrow when the pain blocking benefits wear off. Making that ever eventful walk of shame all the more enjoyable for neighbors.
Smoke:
Why kick it old school? Well for starters inhalation means an instant high. Both partners will be ready at the same time; and can even enjoy a quick puff while feverously ripping clothes off. Movie theatre bathroom? Visit to the in-laws? This method works if you’re looking for an enjoyable quickie and want to manage your high. Take a puff of some dank weed or easy preroll, see how that feels, then continue to build your high while you disrobe. Talk about building anticipation…..Pass the rolling papers and roach clips and get ready for a fast and furious adventure.

Whichever method you choose: May your pot be covered in crystal, your edibles tart and delicious, your lube ever flowing, and most importantly… your orgasms EPIC.
